Gateway is brought before the Human High Council so he could be convinced about Apocalypse´s human slaughter in North America. He decides to help in Carol Danvers memory. They are attacked by Pierce and Carol Danvers, who is controlled by techno-organic virus but at the end she refuses to fight Wolverine. Braddock is revealed as a traitor and is killed by Pierce. When everything seems lost Wolverine made an incredible surprise!
